Page Turners is El Camino’s English Major’s club on campus and this week is club rush and we’re the new guy. I think people, upon their first impression, assume we’re a book club and to be honest that sounds a bit boring. Yes we are dedicating one book to month but that is hardly what we are offering the student on our campus. 

It’s a club that will provide you with all the information you need to know as an English Major planning on transferring. We will be your one stop shop for any and all questions concerning your English requirements, your credits, English departments at any Cal States and UC’s. You’ll be surrounded by like minded people and brought together in an out of class environment! We’re planning trips together: The LA Times Book Festival at USC and much more. There are projects we’re working on such as the “What Are You Reading?” blog posts I’m planning and the mini About Me profiles that will provide our members with an alternative introduction to Page Turners.

There will be fundraisers, scholarships, movie premieres, and dinners! 

I’m looking forward to the rest of the semester.
